Matching begins with materials, processes, target cost, order size, lead time, destination market, testing, packaging and platform requirements. Candidate factories are then screened for relevant category experience and suitable production lines before sampling, quotation and risk comparison.
Prepare for sustained compliance, not a one-day audit.
Readiness may cover entity and site records, workforce and time records, fire and safety, environmental management, quality systems, traceability, IP segregation, subcontracting and corrective-action closure. The applicable standard is set by the brand, customer or third-party auditor.
Review the production line and the system behind it.
Capability review considers equipment and capacity, critical processes, tooling and sampling, material control, testing, non-conforming goods, warehousing, peak scheduling and exception response. Licensed products also require controls over artwork, samples, molds and finished goods to prevent unauthorized use or leakage.
Build a factory profile that stays useful over time.
Onboarding usually covers the legal entity, production address, core categories, lines and equipment, management certificates, audit records, quality and delivery data, contacts and confidentiality commitments. Initial acceptance is not permanent approval; material changes should be reported.
Rights compliance and product quality must work together.
A project may involve brand approval, product safety, labeling, packaging, test reports, material restrictions, origin and import rules, platform requirements and recall responsibility. CZWX coordinates project information, while product liability, testing duties and legal obligations remain with the responsible parties named in the agreement.
